Paintings from July (Visit To Maine #1)

So a bunch of stuff happened last month that I won't bore you with but here is the short version:

-I have decided to switch to mostly abstract work. I think that the effort of trying to force an image out of my head, while also learning 2D/3D is just a bit much. So instead I am going to craft imagery that "shows up" for me on the canvas. I think that this is drastically more interesting and produces results that are more "fun" than trying to make something "look like" something

-My computer died and I had to get a new one - while I was waiting for the new machine to arrive I also took a trip to Maine - these pieces are what I created during the week that I was away up north.
